What comes to your mind when I ask you what "perfect" is? What does perfection mean to you?
I have been listening to an awesome podcast by Jesh DeRox called "Practical Forms of Self Love" and in particular, day 8: Two Kinds of Perfect
It's pretty heavy but really interesting and he makes some wonderful points. I will explain some of the things I have taken from the episode.
It made me ponder a few things but in particular, the idea of perfection (something I have and still struggle with most days). When something is perfect, it has reached the pinnacle and is finished. There is nowhere else to go. Just think about that for a moment.
Imagine you have perfected a skill. You are the greatest in the world at something. So that's it, you're done. Now what?
Personally, I would much rather keep learning and improving, not to reach a point of perfection, but to better myself every time. We are humans that are constantly learning, exploring and growing all the time. Change is good.
So that's it from me today, let me know what you think.
I hope you have a fabulous day! x
